Ashtanga yoga is a dynamic and powerful practice comprising six series of poses (asanas) linked by transitions (vinyasas) and synchronized with breath. It emphasizes key elements for a holistic experience.
Often taught in Mysore style, this method lets students practice the Ashtanga sequence at their own pace, with teachers providing individual adjustments and guidance within a group setting.
Inspired by this teaching method, I created a visual chart of the Primary Series, featuring posture names and transitions in Sanskrit and English. Both an art piece and a learning tool, the poster helps users master the sequence.
