Möbelmakeriet is a local company based in Malmö, Sweden, specializing in furniture manufacturing and upholstery. Established in 2015, the business embodies a passion for craftsmanship, blending tradition with contemporary style. During its start-up phase, I had the opportunity to create a logotype that reflects its values and identity.

My Mission

My mission was to craft a design inspired by the founder’s love for armchairs and sofas. The logotype features an armchair-like shape with loose parts, symbolizing the creative process of “under construction.” The font combines antique and modern elements, highlighting upholstery as a craft that has evolved over centuries. The bold yet playful color palette reflects the owner’s dynamic personality and distinctive interior style while maintaining a clean and polished look.
